The Sperryville Business Council met last Thursday. Nine local businesses were represented. The merchants discussed the revision of the Sperryville brochure and made plans to use an apple theme on die new one. Also being planned is an apple festival for next year. Further discussion of the festival will be at the next meeting, November 12.
Lions Club Has
Fruit Stand
Rappahannock Lions Club had an apple butter boiling last week and will open a sales stand this weekend on Route 211 west of Washington. They will have apples, cider, brooms, applebutter, pumpkins and much more. When you see the Lions banner, stop and patronize this civic group.
