Mrs. Eleanor Brown was honored recently with a country hoedown given by her three daughters in Richmond, Mrs. Phyllis Shirey, i Mrs. Jean Konek and Mrs. Elizabeth Williams. About 90 guests joined them for the roast pig dinner. Mrs. Brown’s sons, Maury Jr. of Bridgeport, Texas, H. A. Brown and daughter Tracy of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Charles Brown of Dallas. Texas, joined them.

Fashion Show
The fall fashion show sponsored by the Sperryville Ladies Auxiliary and held Saturday evening was acclaimed a success by a group spokesperson.
Door prizes awarded were, a smoke detector to Alvin Atkins of Sperryville; an ice bucket, Nancy' Reeve of Washington; box of apples, Faye Atkins and gallon of cider, Julie Atkins, both of Sperryville.
Appreciation was expressed to all for time, work, support and attendance.
