On Friday evening prior to The Corner Post’s grand opening at noon on Saturday, Peggy plans to open the restaurant to her friends and neighbors throughout Rappahannock County for a preview. She will offer very light refreshments at the October 16 open house from 5 to 7 p.m.
The public is invited to stop in and see Rappahannock’s newest restaurant. “We don’t have any plastic flowers...It will be a simple but elegant service, I think the people of Rappahannock County are entitled to that, particularly in the evening. I love this area and I love the people here. We want this to be our place.”
