How Do Courts
Impact Zoning?
A General Assembly subcommittee studying the impact of recent court decisions on zoning powers of local governments will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, December 16, in Fairfax.
The hearing will start at 7:30 p.m. and will be held in the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Room, Massey Building, 4100 Chain Bridge Road.
The study was initiated as a result of complaints voiced by local governments that Virginia courts have hampered their ability to deal effectively with growth.
