Andrew William Cave, 67, of1 Stanley died Friday, November 27, 1981, at Page Memorial Hospital, Luray.
Funeral services were conducted Monday at the Freewill Independent Baptist Church by the Rev. John Sherfey. Burial was in Graves Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Cave was born March 1. 1914, in Page County, a son of the late Pete and Mamie Jenkins Cave. He had been employed by Virginia Oak Tannery and was a member of the Freewill Independent Baptist Church at Stanley.
He was married to the former Mamie Wilson, who survives.
Surviving with his wife are a son. Edward William of Stanley; two stepsons, Isaac Purdham of Stanley and James Purdham of Alexandria; a daughter, Betty Louise Price of Stanley; a stepdaughter, Mildred Elizabeth Braun of Baltimore, Md.; one brother, Donald Cave of Washington; 23 grandchildren; 37 greatgrandchildren and one greatgreat-grandchild.
Mrs. Ella Frances Marks, 68, of Madison County died Wednesday, December 2, 1981, at her residence.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday at the Preddy Funeral Home in Orange by the Rev. Charlie Boykins. Burial was at Etlan United Methodist Church cemetery.
Mrs. Marks was the daughter of the late William Ashby and Annie Batman Gallihugh. Her husband was the late Ernest M. Marks. She was a member of the Oak Park Road Baptist Church.
She is survived by nine sons, Ernest Mark$, Charley Marks and Jimmy Marks, all of Orange. Curtis Marks of Culpeper, Melvin Marks and Fred Marks of Madison Mills, Nelson Marks of Madison, Jesse Marks of Aroda. John Marks of Radiant; two brothers, Marvin Gallihugh of Orange and Rufus Gallihugh of Rappahannock; two sisters. Nellie Corbin of Orange and Lynoa Seal of Madison; 35 grandchildren and. 18 greatgrandchildren.
