He maintained that an application for block grant funds which must be made between February and March, 1982, is the best way to proceed rather than trying to find some other way of raising the money.
In response to a question from fellow supervisor H. B. Wood, Sperryville representative Charles Estes explained that all residences within the area served by the proposed sewer system will have to hook on even if the houses have properly functioning septic systems.
Dennis emphasized, however, that the 195 dwelling units and businesses to be served by the sewer system lie primarily in the Thornton River’s flood plain.
