Several drops food coloring
Mix all together in large heavy pan. Cook, mixing continuously until it forms a big lump in the center of pan. Let cool until you can handle it (but still quite warm); knead in food coloring until it has even coloring, and springy consistency. Store in a airtight container.

Boy Scout Troop 36 of Flint Hill once again will offer county residents the opportunity to buy fresh citrus fruits for the holiday season. Oranges, tangelos, tangerines and grapefruit will be on sale.

Amissville
Camilla Jones celebrated her birthday Saturday with a slumber party attended by Melissa Crossman and Sonja Early. The young ladies had pizza and a shopping spree in Warrenton and a chicken dinner in the evening. Camilla is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Jones.
Mrs. Corrie Miler of Colchester, Conn, is visiting her mother, Mrs. T. W. Latham. Additional guests Saturday were Thomas J. Smith of Hyattsville, Md., Jimmie Dunn, Tracey Martin and Kelly Martin, all of Burke.
