Clyde Bruce Johnson, age 92, of Culpeper died on Tuesday, January 25, 1983, at the Lynn Care Center in Front Royal.

A native of Sperryville, he was the son of the late Charles Newman and Mary Bruce Johnson. He was a retired auctioneer and a World War I veteran.

Mr. Johnson was the last living member of his immediate family. He is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were conducted on Saturday at the Sperryville Cemetery by the Rev. Merlin Shorb.

Pallbearers were Jesse Williams, Louis Huffman, Robert Peters, Claude I. Guinn, John Riley and Robert Miller.

Geest-Johnson Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of arrangements.
