The aim of the Feb. 13 workshop is to give participants a deeper understanding of the art of acting which will enhance their appreciation of theatre and their effectiveness should they wish to try out for or take roles in local theatre productions. No acting experience is required, and all are welcome regardless of whether their interest is simply a general interest in theatre, or a specific interest in playwrighting, directing or acting.
Reservations can be secured by sending a $5 deposit to Laurie Marshall or by phoning Laurie at 8256459 or Carla Eugster at 9878913. The fee is $10 for RAAC members and $15 for non members.
Participants are encouraged to bring something to present. This can be a small segment of a scene in which they have acted in the past, a monologue, an improvisation, or even a story, an anecdote, a poem, or a song.
