of Sperryville, resigned
as chairman of the board of directors for Rappahannock National Bank. Mr. Johnson was feted with an evening of dining, story telling and reminiscing at the Hampton Inn and was presented with a weather station in appreciation of his years of service. *
Slopes at the Rappahannock Ski Area were good to excellent on a 20-30 inch base and a foot of manmade packed powder. The Castleton Ladies Auxiliary presented the community’s volunteer fire company and rescue squad with a $200 donation.
