daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Ivan Funk of Front Royal, has been named Salutatorian of the Class of 1988. A National Merit Commended Student, Funk has won many academic honors and extra-curricular distinctions since she entered Wakefield five years ago. She will attend the University of Virginia in the fall.
The salutatorian will give the welcoming address and the valedictorian the farewell address at Wakefield’s graduation exercises to be held on the Huntly campus on Thursday evening, June lb.
