A Warrenton man who said he was on his way to a musical engagement was sentenced to thirty days in jail by Judge John Alexander for driving with a suspended license.
David Scott Lanham was charged by Trooper Charles Moore at a roadblock on Rt. 522. Moore said that he was at the roadblock when he saw the accused approach at the wheel of a car. The car pulled into a driveway and emerged with a different driver, Moore said.
