Surrounded by friends and family, Rappahannock graduates shared the distinction last Friday night of completing 12 years of hard work. Singled out for special honors were ten seniors who were awarded scholarships or recognition for extraordinary achievement.
For excellence in writing, Cathy Atkins w'as given the James J. Kilpatrick Writing Award, presented by the famous columnist’s assistant, Ginny Beatty.
Kimberly Burke was selected for the Rappahannock County Education Association award, presented to her by Bobbi Doctor, Rappahan nock teacher.
