Robert Moore, assistant resident engineer for Rappahannock and Fauquier counties, gave the supervisors at the June board meeting an update on maintenance and improvement projects scheduled for the coming year.
Rappahannock’s 1983-84 secondary road budget totals $JO(5,385, “a little more than what was anticipated last year at this time but not a great deal more,” the engineer said.
Scheduled projects are based on the six-year plan, now in its second year, and include:
—Route (500 from Old Hollow back into Sperryville; grade, drain, stabilize and surface treat,

—Route (522 at Rock Mills: spot improvements to steep section to eliminate "wash board.”
