Winter Quarter non-credit courses

offered at Lord Fairfax College

Several non-credit short courses have been scheduled for the Winter Quarter at Lord Fairfax Community College. Students may register for any non-credit course by calling the office of Continuing Education (869-1120; ext. 277) or in person at the college during normal operating hours (8 a.m. — 4:30 p.m., Monday — Friday).

In addition, senior citizens may enroll in any non-credit course free of charge, provided all paying students have been accommodated.

4-H teen weekend

Summer-In-The-Winter Festival! Plans are now complete for the annual “Summer-in-the-Winter Festival” program which will be held at the Northern Virginia 4-H Educational Center February 7-9, 1986. Cost for the weekend will be $30.00.

Please come by or call the Rappahannock Extension Office at 6753619 for a copy of the program and registration forms. The deadline is February 1. Virginia Cooperative Extension programs, activities, and employment opportunities are available to all people regardless of race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, handicap, or political affiliation.

Gymnastic classes filling up

The Fauquier County Parks and Recreation Department will be continuing their gymnastic classes in January. New classes have been added at Cedar Lee Junior High School in Bealeton and Marshall Auditorium in Marshall.

Registration for gymnastics can be made through January 2 only. Participants are encouraged to register promptly.
