Ivan and Hazel Hall, with legal councel from David Konick, filed a lawsuit against the Rappahannock County Board of Zoning Appeals, the Board of Supervisors and Oscar and Stella Lozano of Culpeper for $250,000 plus attorney’s fees.

The 5-part suit is a response to the April 24 BZA decision granting a special use permit to the Sperryville Assembly of God Church to erect a new church and parsonage on land adjacent to the Hall’s property. The Halls have argued that the special use permit was improperly granted for land that was unlawfully subdivided.
