Closings
The following businesses and county offices will have special hours because of the New Year holiday.
The Family Guidance Services of Rappahannock County will be closed early on Tuesday, December 31, at 4: ’0 p.m. and will be closed on January 1. In case of an emergency, the clinic staff may be reached by calling 675-3329.
The Rappahannock County Social Services Department will be closed January 1.
The Rappahannock Library will be closed Monday, December 30 through J anuary 2.
The Rappahannock National Bank will be open between 9 a.m. and 12 noon on December 31 and will be closed on New Year’s Day.
The Fanners and Merchants Bank in Flint Hill will be closed on January 1.
County Government offices will be closed December 26 and 27.
The Rappahannock Zoning and Building Office will be closed December 26 and 27.
The Rappahannock News will have an early advertising and editorial deadline of Saturday, December 28 at 12 noon.
The deadline for advertising in the Horse and Farm Directory will be Friday, December 27 at 12 noon. Combo advertising will have a deadline of Friday, December 27 at 3 p.m.
The Rappahannock News offices will be closed at 3 p.m. on December 31 and will re-open for regular business hours on January 2.
