It is a poignant time of year, New Year’s eve. First there is the hard part of reviewing the proceeding twelve months. What happened? What changed? What has been learned about oneself?

Then there is the easy part, making those infamous New Year’s resolutions. How many will put diet and excercise at the top of their lists? Or perhaps this year you will consider something a little wild, like joining a Rung Fu class or becoming a belly dancer. Why not?

New Year’s eve is a time for ceremony, whether a special prayer before bed or dancing all night with a loved one. Like Christmas, it is a time for celebrating new birth.

Whatever you do — do it with spirit. It is a wonderful time for merriment and revelry.
