Ideas are discussed and dismissed. One child wants a slide, another basketball hoops, a whole group in the comer wants a swimming pool. We narrow it down to two choices and then vote. The children have purchased a computer, basketball hoops and gym equipment. This year they want a work bench with real tools.
The whole project sounds time consuming and complicated but it’s not. We spend about an hour a day working in this program. It ties together and gives application to our math, handwriting, geography and concentration thinking programs.
