Rappahannock News photo/Lou Hatter SWERVING TO AVOID striking a deer on Rt. 600 in Old Hollow last Saturday afternoon, Deborah Sue Walters, of Annapolis, Md., lost control of her 1986 Nissan, ran off the road and struck a tree. Ms. Walters was not injured in the accident. Trooper R. A. Baines, who investigated the accident, estimated damage to the vehicle at $3,000. Ms. Walters was charged with not having a valid operator’s license. Sperryville Co. 2 and Co. 7 responded to the scene.
