THE LORD’S PRAYER
(PART 3)
To continue on this week with The Lord's prayer, found in Matt 6:9-13. We want to study the line "Thy kingdom come, thy will be done."
Remember, first you begih your prayer by hollowing God’s name; praising Him and thanking Him for Jesus and His shed blood. Always come into God’s presence with thanksgiving in your heart. Then begin to pray “Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done ”, in your own life. God's word is God's will, whatever is in His word is for you today! Picture Jesus seated upon the throne of your heart; submit yourself to jesus; let Him be your Lord, not just your savior. (James 4:7 & 8 and james 4:10). If you have not submitted yourself to jesus, as you pray this prayer, you will find your life changing and you will be able to fully submit yourself to Him. The time of Jesus returning is drawing close according to the signs of the times, therefore we must become fully committed to God. If you are a Christian, its time, if you haven’t already, to make a decision to fully serve Christ, and if you will join us in sincerely praying this prayer daily, you will see a great difference in your life.
Next, begin to pray for your family, your Pastor, your Church, unsaved people, our nation and our world, pray that God's will be done and that His kingdom come in their lives. See Jesus seated upon their hearts throne also. See Him as Lord over all you pray for. Finally, in this part of the prayer, ask God to help you live out who you should be as a child of His. The Holy Spirit is our helper, (John 14:26), He will help you.
