Giveaway supports people * As part of their “Support the People" program, the Rappahannock Heads Up 4-H Club and the Rappahannock County Girl " Scouts will sponsor a Christmas party at the Washington fire hall on Saturday, Dec. 17, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The club will have clothes, blankets, i .household goods and Christmas ; I decorations and toys sorted and ready to be given to needy residents. The toys will be pre-wrapped a Ad identified with the « appropriate age and sex «f the recipient. * Club leader Brenda Knoll said that the club has yet to find a volunteer Santa Claus, and urged anyone willing to participate, or to • lend a Santa suit, to contact her (937*4616). / Donations of items to be given to needy people are also needed; there is a box outside the fire hall where donations may be placed.
