“It is a good idea for people in the Culpeper area to call Social Security before taking the time to visit the office. The reason is that most Social Security business can be taken care of over the telephone,” said Bruce A. Hundley, Social Security manager in Culpeper.
Unless the persons’ business is urgent, it is best to call after the middle of the month. Inquiries can be handled more quickly at this time, Mr. Hundley said.
