INVITATION TO BID
The Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors hereby invites all interested contractors to submit bids to provide all labor and materials necessary for the replacement of the roof of the Rappahannock County Commissioner of the Revenue’s Office, and other work, in Washington, Virginia. The work to be performed shall include, but is not necessarily limited to:
A. Removal and disposal of existing roof and,
B. Replacement with a tin (metal) roof of similar appearance; and,
C. Painting of same; and,
D. Providing gutter and downspout to match existing gutters and downspouts in Courthouse area; and,
E. Repairing a section of the ro<j£ on the Rappahannock County Extension Office; and,
F. Replacing a section of gutter on the north side of the Clerk of the Circuit Court’s office, to match existing gutters.
The bidding procedures, for competitive sealed bidding^ provided for by the Virginia Public Procurement Act, Section 11-37 et seq. of the Code of Virginia, 1950 (as amended), shall apply. Bids are due in to the County Administrator’s office at the Comer of Porter and Main Streets (mailing address, P.O. Box 222, Washington, VA 22747) no later than Wednesday, January 25, at 4:50 p.m., at which time they will be opened and publicly read.
To be acceptable, a bid must state a fixed price, must contain the name, address and telephone number of the bidder, and must be “Signed by the bidder. Rappahannock County reserves the right to reject any or all bids. , Please contact the County Administrator at 675-3342 between 8:35-4:30 M-F with any questions as to the scope of work' to be performed or related matters.
