until April, when the Shaekletons returned from their winter home in Florida. However, Rappahannock County Sheriffs Department investigator Capt. Ed Streapy testified that he had learned, during an unrelated investigation, that Wilson was working in Warrenton and had sold some items there.
After interviewing Wilson’s coworkers, Capt. Streapy determined that the items had been stolen from the Shaekletons. He charged Wilson, who was living in Arizona, with the break-in and theft. Wilsoh was arrested and extradited to Virginia to face the charges.
At that time, Capt. Streapy testified, Wynkoop was considered as a witness in the case. His mother had called the-Sheriffs Department and reported that Wilson had left some items at their home, including stereo speakers and a turntable.
Wynkoop told Capt. Streapy that he had bought the turntable and a toolbox from Wilson. He said that
