Coach Leake said he does not think the team’s early season difficulties will be a major problem. “The disappointment is in our lack of a consistent offense. We know we can score,” the coach said, pointing to four players who have scored game high totals of between 16 and 29 points, and another four players have scored between seven and nine points in a game.
Although the players’ averages have been good, the coach said, the problem is that the team is not combining its scoring each night. “We’re j not getting them all in the same night. Different people step forward each night.”
