Holiday cooking and baking can be quick and easy when you use your microwave oven and can also result in a very good quality product.
The following recipes for appetizers, candies, cookies, and holiday gifts were demonstrated at the microwave program at the Extension Office on Dec. 4. These were a few oi the favorite recipes among the group that evening. If you would like a copy of the entire handout, stop by or call the Extension Office at 6753619.
I’m sure many of you have made peanut brittle the traditional way. This recipe from the Virginia/Carolina Peanut Growers Association is made in the microwave and results in a very good product.
