“On Sept. 20, 1990 [he] obtained information from three separate citizens that Kenneth W. Allison was in possession of a firearm on Sept. 19 in the 7-Eleven store parking lot” in Marshall.
One of the witnesses, said Rogers, was an acquaintance of Allison’s who spoke with Allison when he drove up. Allison asked him to buy beer, which the unnamed witness stated he would not do.
Allison went inside to get the beer, according to the witness, and on the way out Allison allegedly started a fight with “a black man named John.
“The witness stated that Allison was choking John and then kicked him in the privates. The witness stated John escaped and ran from Allison. The witness stated that Allison then went to his van and got a tffle with a scope attached,” according to Agent Rogers’ affadavit.
“The witness stated that Allison, armed with the rifle, then proceeded to look for John,” but John had run from the parking lot, according to the affadavit.
