NOTICE OF APPOINTMENTS
BOARD OF ASSESSMENT
On Monday, January 7, 1991 the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors intend, in accordance with §58.1-3275, to appoint five persons, one from each magisterial district in Rappahannock County, to a Board of Assessors. This Board of Assessors shall meet to oversee the general reassessment of property in Rappahannock County currently being conducted by a professional appraiser and to review appeals of individual assessments by individual property owners. In order to be qualified, Assessors shall be freeholders of Rappahannock County, and shall receive such training as required by the Department of Taxation. Compensation shall be set by the Board of Supervisors.
