Guided by the Star of Bethlehem, the shepherds and wise men alike found themselves standing before a lowly stable. Could this be the birthplace of the prophesi«fcKing of Kings? Amidst the animal sounds, there was the unmistakable ciy of a newborn infant. They slowly entered, still puzzled by the strange scene before them. There they found the baby Jesus in the arms of Maiy, His mother, next to a manger bed filled with straw.
Yet, this infant Would grow to be called the Son of God... the Prince of Peace. Jesus would teach forgiveness and love, not retribution and hate.
As you worship this Christmas season, may the words of the angel of the Lord ring in your heart: “For unto you is bom this day... a Savior who is Christ the Lord.”
