Breakfast with Santa
The Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Company and Rescue Squad will sponsor an all-youcan-eat breakfast at the fire hall-on Saturday, Dec. 22 from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. The menu will include eggs, sausage gravy and buscuits, potatoes, apples, orange juice, coffee, tea and milk. Pictures will be taken with Santa. "Give the kids a chance to talk with Santa while the whole family enjoys breakfast," said an organizer. The price for adults is $5, $3 for children under eight. 'Scrooge' at theatre
The movie "Scrooge" is the feature attraction at the Gay St. Theatre this Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 22 and 23. The movie stars Albert Finney, Alec Guinness and Edith Evans. A handsome musical adaptation of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol," Finney hams it up in the title role, while Guinness plays a surprisingly fey Marley's ghost. Showtime is at 7:30 p.m. both evenings. There is no admission charge for this holiday presentation, which is brought to the community as a Christmas present from Peter Kramer.
