Wednesday. Until Lent, Feb. 15, services at noon are held in Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington, located on the comer of Gay and Middle Streets in Washington, and at 7:30 p.m. in Washington Baptist Church on the comer of Porter and Gay Streets.
Beginning with Lent, the service locations will switch and the evening service conducted at 7 p.m.
“It’s a quiet time,” Washington Baptist Church pastor, the Rev. Darrell Bare said, addihg w'hile numbers of those attending these services since the war’s beginning on Jan. 17 is not high, the response is steady.
“It’s a brief 15 minute service with quiet prayer,” he said, adding the presiding minister may offer an opening prayer and a closing word,
