The following dogs are being held at the county’s animal shelter in Amissville. Call Tracey Clark at the shelter (703-9373283 or 937-*3336) for more information about these animals.
• Australian sheep dogs puppies: two male, one female, one tan, two Blue Merrill type.
• Hound mix: adult male, found U.S. 211 near Washington.
• Boxer mix puppies: five weeks old, very cute.
• Boxer mix: adult female, found on Route 797 near Slate Mills.
• Boxer mix: adult male, long tail, found on Route 707 in Slate Mills area.
• Shepherd mix: adult male, black, brown and white, medium size.
• Chihuahua mix: adult male, white and tan.
• Shepherd/Rottweiler mix puppies: four, need homes.
• Redbone hound: adult male, one eye, has been neutered.
• Spaniel/beagle mix: adult female, cute, has been spayed.
• Shepherd: one-year-old female, white, shots and spayed.
All of the above listed animals are ready for adoption, and all are suitable for good family homes.
