“Not in all of my six years of teaching, have I seen a single event sober the entire student body, as this event has,” English teacher Jon Heddleston said, adding while other events may have affected and reached a single class of students, this has touched each student.
“The students are very aware and concerned,” he said of many of the 400 young people in the school. Mr. Heddleston teaches various sections of English from eighth to 12th grade and through his years of teaching has had many of the students several years in a row.
