Dance in AmissvUle

The Amissville Volunteer Fire Department will sponsor a dance on Saturday, Feb. 16 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., featuring Eddie Huff and his band, Tarragon. The cost is $15 for couples, $8 for singles. All-you-can-eat breakfast

The Washington Volunteer Fire Department will sponsor an all-you-can-eat breakfast at the fire hall on Saturday, Feb. 16 from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. The menu will include pancakes, bacon, sausage, gravy, biscuits, eggs, fried apples, hash browns, orange juice, coffee, hot chocolate and hot tea. The cost is $5 and $3 for children under 12. Other events scheduled by the department include a breakfast on March 30 with an Easter egg hunt after the breakfast.

Gallery's Members Show

The February exhibition at the Middle Street Gallery in Washington is te 1991 Members Show, which presents a current overview of artwork being produced by member artists from Rappahannock, Culpeper, Fauquier and Warren counties. Curator Tanya Richie has asked the gallery's members to submit their best works for the show. In addition, Russian photographer Edik Gladkov's series of photographs of poverty in the Soviet Uniono (which appeared in the Washington Post is also part of this exhibition. 'Phantom' tickets deadline

The deadline to reserve tickets for RAAC's trip to see "Phantom of the Opera" is Feb. 22. "RAAC on Tour" will journey to see the world-famous stage production on Friday, Aug. 9, for a show that begins at 8 p.m.
