She is survived by one brother, Browning L. Coughlin of Culpeper; two sisters, Blance Rice of Centreville and Arizona Keenum of Washington, D-C.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 12 at the Geest-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Gregg officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper.
Franklin Starks
Franklin Starks, 61, of Washington died Monday, Feb. 11, 1991 at his home.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Frances Dunn of Washington and Hattie Ward of Washington, D.C. ; three sons, Pete Green of Reston, Frank Carter of Richmond and Timothy Ward of Washington, D.C.; three brothers, Jack Freeman of Washington, D.C., James E. Starks of Washington and Lawrence Starks of Ben Venue; two sisters, Annabelle Timbers of Woodville and Edna Loadholt of Brooklyn, N.Y.; 15 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held today, Thursday, Feb. 14 at the Starks family cemetery in Washington at 2 p.m. Pastor John R. Pendleton of Flint Hill will officiate.
W.C. Thompson Funeral Home in Culpeper is in charge of the arrangements.
Clyde Courtney
Clyde Collier Courtney, of Culpeper, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 1991 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Courtney was bom March 24, 1906 in Woodville, the son of the late James Aldrich and Mary Ann Curtis Courtney. He was retired from Home Beneficial Life Insurance in a career he held for 30 years and he was a member and deacon of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church in Boston. He was a veteran of World War II.
He was married to the late Mary Roselle Spicer Courtney, who passed away on Dec. 27, 1965.
Survivors include a sister, Elsie Cordelia Courtney of Culpeper; a niece, Patricia Canatella; and a great-niece, Heather Canatella.
Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 11 at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church with the Rev. Dan Gregg officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
Clore Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
