Although our community may be small, our dreams need not be, and and we of the R.A.A. and the R.S.L. intend to set our goals high. With the continued support of the community and our local county government, it is our ambition to provide a first class sports program for the youth of Rappahannock County.
The R.S.L., in order to expand upon the already successful soccer program, is introducing a spring schedule. Although this spring soccer season will somewhat overlap with the R.A.A. baseball practice season, it will not interfere with the season schedule of games.
Therefore we encourage all those that wish to participate in both sports to do so.
The R.A.A. is going to institute the policy of reduced fees for families with more than one child. The new rate will be $15 for one child, $25 for two children and $30 for three or more children. This continues to be the fee structure for R.S.L.
Registration for the 1991 baseball season will be held Saturday, Feb. 16 and Feb. 23 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Amissville Volunteer Fire Department and the Rappahannock County Elementary School. Registration forms for soccer will be passed out at RCES and are also available at Cabin Fever Books. Please return to RCES office or CFB by March 1.
We thank you for your continued support and look forward to a very successful spring and summer of youth sports in Rappahannock County.
