Food drive underway

A Christmas food drive has been organized at Rappahannock Elementary School in an attempt to help children realize that giving can be as rewarding as receiving. Participation is voluntary. Collection dates are from Dec. 2-20 in the lobby of Rappahannock Elementary before and after school. For more information call Miss Wolf or Mrs. Lamma at 987-8259.

Aerobic classes

Simply Aerobic classes will be offered at Trinity Episcopal Church on Mondays and Fridays at 9 a.m. and Wednesdays at 8:15 a.m. For more information call Beth Levick, 675-3108.

Breakfast with Santa

The Flint Hill Fire Department will sponsor their annual breakfast with Santa from 8 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21. The menu will consist of scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, biscuits, baked apples, sausage gravy and drinks. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under.

A 25 inch RCA television will be raffled off at the breakfast. The tickets are $1 each or six for $5. Second prize will be a Redskin theme family room furniture outfit. Tickets are available from any fire company member or local merchants. “Come, enjoy a delicious breakfast and talk with Santa,” said a spokesperson.

Pony club to meet

The United States Pony Club is starting in the Woodville area. The Club teaches riding, fun and participation. All are welcome. For more information call 547-3452 or 547-3079.
