Leonard Campbell
Leonard D. Campbell, 77, of Front Royal, died Thursday, Dec. 5 at the Warren Memorial Hospital.
The funeral was conducted Saturday, Dec. 7 at the Tumer-Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal by the Rev. John Burke. Burial was in the Willis Chapel Cemetery at Huntly.
Mr. Campbell was born March 7, 1914 in Warren County, the son of the late Robert and Agnes Williams Campbell. He was retired from the maintenance department of the Arlington County School Board.
Surviving are his wife, Frances Katherine Jenkins Campbell; three sons, Luther Campbell of Jefferson, Daniel Campbell of Front Royal and William Campbell of Eden, N.C.; three daughters, Doris LiUard of Front Royal, Shirley Gardner of Sykesville, Md. and Carolyn Bailey of Manassas; two brothers, Lloyd Campbell of Chester Gap and Howard Campbell of Frederick, Md.; a sister, Pearl Willis of Front Royal; 11 grandchildren; and seven greatgrandchildren.
Pallbearers were Frank Stringfellow, Frankie Campbell, Mike Brown, Fred Campbell, Rodney Cameron and Gary Grant.
