A graveside service was conducted Monday, Dec. 9 in Sperryville Cemetery by the Rev. Merlin Shorb.
Mrs. Jenkins was bom June 29, 1936, in Rappahannock County, the daughter of Elsie Clark Atkins of Sperryville and the late Eugene Atkins. She worked at Parkway Gift Shop in Sperryville and was a member of the Sperryville United Methodist Church. •
Surviving with her mother are her husband, John L. Jenkins; four sons, John L. Jenkins III, Jerry Lef Jenkins and Roger L. Jenkins, all of Sperryville and Kenneth B. Jenkins of Vienna; two daughters, Joyce LiTlard of Sperryville and Patricia Rosf of Culpeper; two brothers, Wilbur Atkins and Eugene Atkins, both of Sperryville; a sister, Mary Jane Settle of Chester Gap and three grand' children.
Pallbearers were Greg Wayland, Todd Vest, Guy Foster, Eddie Jenkins, Randolph Clater, Gary Settle, Mike Leake and Tommy Atkins.
Honorary pallbearers were Huey Atkins, Ronnie Atkins, Wayne Atkins, Mike Atkins, Rudy Frye, Tommy Whorton, Gary Leake and Gary Lee Bright.
Arrangements were handled by Clore Funeral Home in Culpeper.
