Fruit pick-up set Those who ordered fruit from the Rappahannock High School band, chorus or seventh graders may pick-up their fruit at the Rappahannock Farmers Co-op from 3:30-5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 13 and 8 a. m.-noon Saturday, Dec. 14. Bake, yule log sale Weblo Pack 123 will be having a bake and yule log sale in front of Washington Post Office from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14.

Christmas banquet The Amissville Volunteer Fire Department will hold its annual Christmas dinner and awards banquet at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21. The meat, bread and beverages will be provided and everyone is asked to bring a covered dish. All current members, life members and volunteers and their families who helped with fundraising activities during the year are invited. Entertainment will be provided after dinner.

AA meetings at Trinity An Alcoholics Anonymous meeting is held at 8:30 p.m. every Thursday at Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington.

Help for abusers, victims Services for Abused Families Inc. of Culpeper sponsors weekly support groups for abusers and the victims of domestic violence. A group for women with relationship problems meets at 6:30 p.m. each Wednesday and a similar group for men with problems including anger and violence meets at 6:30 p.m. each Monday. Overeaters Anonymous to meet Overeaters Anonymous meeting is held at 7 p.m. every Tuesday at Trinity Episcopal Church. There are no dues or fees.

Co-dependents to meet Co-dependents Anonymous will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Mondays at Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington. Co-dependency is a pattern of painful dependence on compulsive behaviors and approval from others in an attempt to find sanity, self-worth and identity.

Quaker meeting There is an hour of silent worship, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sundays at the Middle Street Gallery.
