Fifty-six area homes were reached during Christmas week with food, fruit bowls and flowers, thanks to the Amissville Ruritan Club, Amissville United Methodist Church, the Methodist Womens Missionary Society, the Methodist Senior Sunday School Class, the Amissville Baptist Church, the Girl Scout Troop 587, and six private donors, who paid for these gifts and to the nice people who made the deliveries. It made Christmas a little nicer for a lot of people.
