and the School Board of system needs, problems, and actual or potential deficiencies in equipment or operations. The Sperryville system consists of a fifty-five thousand gallon-per-day (55,000 gpd) Treatment Facility located on Authority-owned property in the village of Sperryville. Approximately one-hundred sixty septic tanks are connected to this facility by piping which carries all graywater effluent to the Treatment Facility. The wastes collected in the system's septic tanks are periodically pumped and hauled by the operator for treatment at the Facility. The Operator shall be responsible for all monitoring and sampling operations of the sewage treatment facilities at the Rappahannock County Public Schools, which duty shall include performing daily monitoring and apprising the School authorities ' of needed improvements in equipment and/or procedures. The* successful applicant must hold (or have obtained prior to commencing employment by the Authority) a Class III Operator's license from the Virginia Department of Commerce, and agree to undertake any and all recertification and in-service training as may be required by the Commonwealth.
