Business Council to meet

Club to study photography
The Rappahannock 4-H Teen Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday, ! Jan. 11 at the Rappahannock Extension Office. This month’s program will be on “Photography” presented by Pamela Zilly, a local photographer. Teens are requested to bring their cameras and some photographs they’ve taken to be critiqued.

The Culpeper Minute Men Chapter NSDAK will meet at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 12 at the Culpeper United Methodist Church. The program will be on the “Media and Public Opinion."

Program at Library
The Jan. 8 First Friday program at the Rappahannock Library will be “Facing Tough Challenges: Russia Today.” The speaker is career diplomat Jon Purnell, an expert on U.S.-Russian relations. Mr. Purnell has recently returned from Russia where he witnessed firsthand the many changes taking place in the country’s government and saw how it is effecting life in that country. The program starts at 8 p.m. at the Library. Admission is free. Refreshments and a chance to meet the speaker will follow. For more information, call the Library at 675-3780.
