Indonesians plan

Ki Theatre fete

On Friday, Jan. 15, a buffet supper will be held at the Indonesian Embassy in Washington, D.C. to benefit Ki Theatre of Washington, Va.

The event is planned in conjunction with Ki Theatre’s first program of the Exchange Series, which features an evening with Indonesian Dancers and Gamelan Orchestra on Jan. 17.

A bus will be available at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 15, outside of Ki Theatre on Gay Street to transport those who sign up for the 7:30 p.m. gala supper.

The Embassy? a major Beaux Arts building, was constructed as a residence by Thomas F. Walsh between 1901-1903. This opulent home, with massive carved staircase and Tiffany ceilings, passed to Evalyn Walsh McLean in 1912.

Seating is limited and reservations are essential. The cost for this evening benefit is $100 per person. Bus transportation for the round trip from Washington, Va., to Washington, D.C., is an additional $10.
