Breakfast &t Washington * The Washington Volunteer Fire Department will be sponsoring a buffet breakfast from 7-11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 16 at the fire hall. The menu will .consist of sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, biscuits, sausage gravy, pancakes, hash browns, baked apples, French toast, cereal, hot chocolate, coffee and juice, Cost will be $5 for adults and $£ children 12 and under. Upcoming buffet breakfast dates v^ill be Feb. 13, March 13 and April 13 with an Easter Egg hunt.

birthday celebration This year the Martin Luther King Jr. birthday celebration will be at 2 p.m. on Jan. 16 at the Gay Street Theatre. Gospel music by the Ellebee Brothers, musical pantomine by the Young Americans. Mr. Joseph Moore will be speaking. “Come let’s celebrate together,” said an organizer.
