The featured dog at the Shelter in Amissville this week is a Shepherd cross, two- to three-year-old male, black and tan, weighs about 35 pounds, shy and friendly, found on Route 681 in Sperryville near Old Rag Mountain.

• Redbone hound, three- to four-year old male, wearing an orange collar, found on Route 612, Old Hollow.

• Hound, five- to six-yearold male, white and tan, found on Route 663, Flint Hill.
