Johnnie Hackley Johnnie James Hackley, 87, of Amissville, died Friday, Jan. 1 at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville. Mr. Hackley was born Aug. 20, 1905 in Culpeper, the son of the late James and Nora Priest Hackley. He was a member of Amissville Baptist Church and a retired carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Bertie Dodson Hackley; two daughters, Doris Sealock and Jean Burner, both of Amissville; a son, James Hackley of Omaha, Neb.; a foster son, Michael Haymaker of Richmond; five grandchildren; one great-grandson and one great-granddaughter. Funeral services were held ^Sunday, Jan. 3 at Amissville Baptist Church with the Rev. Tom Everett officiating. Burial was in Amissville Baptist Church Cemetery. Clore Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
