to Boston University to study “interdisciplinary engineering.” He is planning, however, to delay his university studies a year and find work in the Boston area. He already has the possibility of at least part time work with a glass blower in Vermont.

He said he picked Boston University because it is a good school located in a city with several top universities, and students at one can take classes at any. He added that BU has a “wide curriculum in case I decide to change majors.”

In high school Bryan has been active in the Environmental Awareness Club, serving as president this year. He has been active in the Technology Students Association and in student government. He has also been a member of the Pop Quiz team for five years.

This year Bryan worked as an apprentice to glass blower Eric Kvames at Oldway Craft Village.
