Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Norman have returned home after a lengthy vacation throughout the United States.
Some of the highlights of their trip included Chicago; Illinois; Grand Teton National Park and Jackson Hole in Wyoming; Old Faithful Geyser in Yellowstone National Park; Walla Walla and Mt. Rainer in Washington; Western Coast of Oregon and California and the beautiful drive thru Redwood Parks and Yosemite National park in California. •They saw a house that was 21 x 28 feet inside one of the Redwoods and the tree still lives.
Other places of interest were Reno, Nevada; Salt Lake City, Utah; Fort Collins, Colorado; Branson, Missouri; “Graceland,” home of Elvis Presley, Loretta Lynn’s Ranch and Dollywood all in Tennesse.
Miss Bonnie Brown of Germantown, Md. spent Sunday with her mother Mrs. Chloe Brown.
Jack O’Bannon of Williamsburg and Jason O’Bannon of Culpeper were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice O’Bannon.
Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Vest and granddaughter Ashley Vest spend -several days recently at Colonial Beach. On the return home they visited Mr. and Mrs. Willis Boutchyard in Fredericksburg.
